“Mysticism is the art of union with Reality.”

   — Evelyn Underhill

Mysticism is not presented here as escape, but as union — a quiet participation in what is most real. Much of what we call spiritual work may not be about acquiring something new, but about remembering what we are already part of. Beneath our habits of separation — me and you, inside and outside, sacred and ordinary — there may be a deeper belonging that does not come and go, even when our attention does.

Living from that place does not necessarily require special insight or dramatic experience. It may show up in small ways: in how we listen, how we respond, how we allow ourselves to be touched by what is in front of us. Union may not be something we achieve so much as something we begin to notice — again and again — in the middle of an ordinary day.

Egos Anonymous is offered in an experimental spirit—an invitation to see whether there’s interest in a shared way of working with ego, self-will, and control. The language, structure, and practices are still forming and are meant to grow through lived experience.

This is a soft launch. The hope is to eventually gather a year of reflections into a book, but for now they’re simply being shared—one day at a time—to see what resonates.

If something feels useful, confusing, incomplete, or off, feedback is welcome and genuinely appreciated. This work is meant to be shaped together.
