Egos Anonymous is a Twelve Step program established in 2026, drawing on the traditions first developed by Alcoholics Anonymous.
EA is offered in an experimental spirit—an invitation to see whether there is interest in a shared approach to working with ego, self-will, and control. The language, structure, and practices are still forming and are intended to grow through lived experience rather than fixed design.
If you want to start a meeting, you can. Let us know so others can find you. As meetings form, we will begin maintaining a shared meeting list.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to live with less self-will. Whenever two or more people who share that desire gather to share their experience, strength, and hope, they may call themselves an EA group.
The Twelve Traditions offer guidance for keeping groups healthy and grounded. They are shared principles, learned through experience, and relied upon by groups through cooperation rather than enforcement.
EA does not seek to replace existing programs. It offers an additional path for those who recognize ego-driven patterns in themselves and are looking for a way to live with less fear, less control, and more trust.
