“Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our attention.”
— Tara Brach
Some of our suffering may arise from feeling unseen — by others, by life, even by ourselves. At times, we may move quickly or stay distracted, half-present, carrying the sense that there isn’t quite enough time or space to fully arrive. Attention can fragment, and connection may thin, often without our noticing.
This kind of attention isn’t about effort or intensity. It’s about presence. When attention is offered gently, without agenda, it may make room for something real to occur. Being met this way, even briefly, can sometimes soften the nervous system and remind us that we belong to one another — and to this moment — more than we sometimes remember.
Egos Anonymous is offered in an experimental spirit—an invitation to see whether there’s interest in a shared way of working with ego, self-will, and control. The language, structure, and practices are still forming and are meant to grow through lived experience.
This is a soft launch. The hope is to eventually gather a year of reflections into a book, but for now they’re simply being shared—one day at a time—to see what resonates.
If something feels useful, confusing, incomplete, or off, feedback is welcome and genuinely appreciated. This work is meant to be shaped together.
